To turn off other forum member's ability to send you private messages via email, just go to your profile management and select "No" for "Allow Forum Members
to Send you E-Mail?"

I wish we knew of effective ways to stop spammers from infiltrating every street corner. At any rate, we immediately delete and blacklist subscribers that are suspected of spamming activity.
