Every successful inter-personal relationship requires one or more building blocks. Top Synergy analyzes their presence and intensity in existing or potential relationships.
The building blocks are also referred to as "qualities", "ingredients", and "energies".
The four building blocks are: - Commitment - The desire and capacity of the individuals to keep and maintain the relationship for the long run;
- Intimacy - The emotional closeness and openness in the relationship;
- Passion - The romantic and physical attraction between the parties to a relationship;
- Synergy - The potential of the relationship to become greater in its constructive and creative powers than the capabilities of the individual participants combined.
Every type of relationships require a different set of building blocks. Here are just a few examples:
- Successful marriage requires good measures of commitment, intimacy and passion in the relationship.
- Long term friendship also calls for the commitment and intimacy components, but can definitely do without passion.
- A strong business partnership may do without intimacy, but must be based on mutual commitment and ample synergic qualities.
- A romantic date is considered successful when passion reigns.
Rating Scale:
The
Relationships Analyst report rates the presence and intensity of each building block as: Average or Below Average (-), Strong (1), Dominant (2), Powerful (3), Supreme (4), and Divine (5).
It is important to understand that rating the strength of a certain quality as "Average or Below" doesn't mean that this quality isn't there. All it means is that its strength might not be effective at times of crisis and hardship.
