My Mother is 87 years young and is a Breast Cancer Survivor of 8 years. When I was taking her to her daily radiation treatments, I sat in the waiting room praying for her to be alright. As I sat there, I couldn't help but think back to when I was a kid and how Mom used to get me and my brothers up and ready for church.

I grabbed a sheet of paper and started writing down my memories and thoughts. It didn't take all that long. Being a musician myself, as I wrote and read what I had written, I heard a melody in my head. Each day when I got home, I would write a little music to what I written. My Mom's treatments took 6 weeks. That's about how long it took me to finish the song.

The beginning and the bridge is Amazing Grace. It has a great beat and was a lot of fun to write. At the end of the song, you hear church bells. It's called... are you ready for this?
