Globetrotters abound?

Hi y'all, and Topsynergy

Some while back I read in a paper an interesting article and really liked the idea presented in it - a concept where you offer to accomodate travellers for free or at a minimal cost, in your home when they come to your town. There's couple of websites with a register where you can sign in and people then contact you if they're thinking of visiting your town. You can do the same whenever you travel the world, stay with someone at their place. It allows people to travel the globe with a bit lower costs, see the country from a different angle and best of all, meet new people and make new friends.

I got to thinking how great it would be if the globetrotting members of Topsynergy - anyone who likes the idea and wants to sign up for it, not a mandatory thing, of course - could do that too, and so meet and get to know each other when travelling

What do you all think, yay or nay? Here in Finland the bonfires of the "nightless" Midsummer night celebration are lighting up next week and the summer is at it's prime

How do you come up with all these great ideas of yours? I simply love this globetrotting one, and will set up the facilities for it. However, it might take a few months to materialize if we want to keep the development progress in check.

Is a poll about members' interest in order here?

but whatever the source, I'm grateful for it

Thanks so much for this, it really would be wonderful to meet and get to know other members here in person, too, and see a bit of their countries and the world as well

Yeah, I know, at the moment you are waiting for this Midsummer Night to rip off your clothes and run around the fields, picking all flowers to put under your pillow to see in your dream your becoming husband..
That´s the tradition here in Funland. But only for not-married- ones..

Yeah, I was so looking forward to rolling around in the meadows

...If only it wasn't for the typically unpredictable Nordic summer weather, raining cats and dogs in chilling temperatures, I would've done it, too

! The Midsummer night's sauna was veeery relaxing however
