Hmmm... can't wait to see the outcome.
May I suggest another option that has to do with getting married for the sake of the kids? This poll too is included in the homepage. |

I thought about that, too... in the neutral option, doing it for legal reasons etc. Should I add it, or can I add it?

Ok, to the option in the middle, could you add: "I have no great passions about it either way, but could do it for the sake of kids or legal reasons etc."
Thank you kindly

So, this poll was made for those who haven´t been married yet. Not for like myself who divorced 14 years ago and once married just because of wanting to have a family with children..
In my age But, nice Dyane and Schlomo...this is a good strat for polls. Nitwit

The middle option: "... but I'll do it for the sake of kids ..." kind of fits the reason for your marriage at that time, doesn't it?
Yet, I agree that there are more possible motivations for or against marriage. They may also very through the different phases of our lifetime, for example - my reasons to get married were:

Hmmm... 3rd time.. How this 3rd time differences from two earliers? From your side. Have your all wives been alike or opposite characters?
In my case I´ve already moved out from my parents when I was still at school and working at the same time. Then I left for a 3 month vacation to South America and would have get a job there but my sisters asked me to come home. Also my becoming husband had became a goodfather of my sisters daughter, so I felt it was my responsibility to get married. Wrong way to get married I know. But I had two nice boys with him and a great 1/2 daughter I love and who is one of my closest and best friends. I don´t expect ou to give answers if this is too personal for you. But it is interesting how people think they´ll marry only once - that has been my opinion too. But I do have a sister who´s been married 5 times... Not sure..

Well... I no longer seek to find differences and similarities in my partners' characteristics after I found the great binding core for all three of them, as well as for most other partnerships in my life... ME
Since the lost was found, my life has turned so much easier. There's only one candidate now to accept responsibility and to make better of himself. Simple, powerful, and productive |
