In mid-September we will start making changes to the Relationships Analyst Report.
This is the best time to volunteer your suggestions on how to improve the report. Your recommendations will benefit you as well as the entire community, and the fun part is that the top three contributors win a free Astro Profile. Action items that we've gathered so far include: 1. Change computation of mutual energies: instead of using the fix ratio of 60/40, the ration between the strength of energy from each party will be used to determine the strength of the mutual quality. 2. Multi-lingual: many have asked to provide the report in different languages. Our problem remains the need for volunteers who will moderate the F.A.Q. topics in their mother tongue. Let us know if you wish to volunteer for this important yet ongoing task. 3. Separate pages for each type of relationship: users want clarity, simplicity, and focus on the type of relationship for which they produce the report. They also require additional tools, tips, and information that will help to handle possible difficulties in their relationship that are pointed by the report. So far we feel that the best way to accomplish this request is to have a main (hub) page with navigation links to other pages, each hosts a different type of relationship. That's it folks. From here on the stage is yours. Start shooting and win your free professional astrological profile.

First, it's nice of you to share the modification process of the report with your community.
I did some reading about your underlying concepts and the cosmodynes paradigm - 2. Relationship analysis methods - and if I understand correctly, the basic denomination that is used for the interpretation of various relationships are "harmony/discordant" and "power". It looks as if these numbers have ample meaning on their own and I wonder if there is a way to include them in the report?

I have realized that no matter what info I put into the first panel, it will
always revert to the info first associated with the email i use for the report... it would be nice if that was clearly stated somewhere... i can, of course, supply a different email for each family member...(a tedious process when trying to compare extended family) but that need should be clearly stated in the instructions. A simple data collection and retention system would be nice too, I really like the system they have at [url]www.astro.com. I also think it would be nice if the basic astro details of the two being compared appeared directly on the report. Thanks for requesting feedback! Best Regards, Stella |

Hello,
Thanks for asking for user input for your reports. I agree w/Stella - it would be great to see the astrological detail on the report, or at least have the ability to drill into the detail somehow. I also find the graphical representation on your reports kind of confusing. If there is a ring under my column as well as a ring under the other person's column, why would the "mutual" column be blank? I'm not sure what the report is telling me. And... astrologically, how did it come to that conclusion? I get the feeling that the site/reports may be trying to cater to a non-astrologically literate audience in the hopes of reaching a wider group of people, but in doing so the reports are oversimplified for the very audience (astrological dabblers) who could be your strongest user base. So it just depends on who you want to target with your website and reports. But as a use case from one of your users.... if I come to TopSynergy, you can bet that I've also gone to Astro.com and run a Synastry and a composite chart. Sometimes I'm surprised to find that what looked like a very strong synastry or composite chart comes back with very low numbers on TopSynergy and vice versa.... so I would like to be able to drill into the data and understand how those scores were reached. Astrology has such a rich vocabulary.... Fire, Earth, Air, Water... each of these words tell a story about personality and relationship. If you are trying to sanitize your reports (??) from using too much astrological jargon to be of use to your average Joe - there must be a way to do so without losing all of the astrological imagery which really speaks to people at an intuitive level, whether they know anything about astrology or not. I understand its possible to put too much astrological yadayada into a report - but if you are using astrology as a basis for your analysis, the decision to avoid using any astrological language or imagery seems strange to me. Just my 2 cents. |

Dear emmacat, your two cents must be of very rare coins because the worth a fortune to us. Thanks for your input, which will be taken into account with all the other invaluable suggestions.
