Care for a candy? "Candy" is the name that alex1 has suggested for her new skin for the community. Here's what alex1 did once she gave up on my styling talent (or lack off):

1. She selected her desired color-scheme;

2. Invested a few hours over a few days to customize her own profile with color-codes from the selected theme;

3. Consulted and received feedback from her community friends, and made some corrections accordingly;

3. Named here style "Candy";

4. Posted all the information on the forum (full URL of the color-scheme and the name for the theme). She also used tinypic.com to generate an image of the color-scheme and posted it on the forum;

5. She PMed me, asking to allow her and other members to select this color theme as her skin.

You like alex1's job? Select the Candy style as your skin (selection box is at the left-hand side of the page footer). Don't like it? Fine! Create your own style by following the steps above and post your output here.

Actually, I think that dyane is already moving fast now through the motion with her Bluegrass theme.

Thanks, Alex1, and DO NOT worry about change The number of substantial changes that will follow in the next few months (or years even) are mind-boggling.

As to the color scheme - one of the concerns should be eye-fatigue. Please advise of such symptoms after spending some time on the site. Thanks.

But it´s kind of funny to change the colours just to see how people react. Good thing Schlomo
These are kind of Mother Earth- colours (my opinion).
I like different greys, blues and most of all greens.

But yep, this was a very good idea!

An idea has come to mind (based on members' comments above) on how to make everyone happy Let's make four color sets, for each member to select their favorite flavor. Will call the templates Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Sounds great, doesn't it?

Please post below web pages that you feel connected with and that may represent one or more of the four themes above.

This is a great idea, and I like this new colour template even if it is temporary. I'm all for the warm colours, especially the sunny orange/yellow on top of the page! Well, to be my taste, the bright red could be a little darker, more burgundy, but all in all, I like it.

Here are some suggestions for the other colour templates... the Fire, the Air, the Water, the Earth and the Earth2. This one doesn't quite fit in any category, but I like it anyway, to me it has a kind of summer feel about it

I like Alex's suggestions too, particularly Sonia's Indian Gourmet Products, Organic Blankets and Outline2Design, they look great

A thought: whatever colour templates are chosen, could the most liked templates be saved and "recycled", changing the template with the seasons? Or would that be too much change..?
