Help please [I got a spam via this forum]
Hi I've not been online here long but I'm unhappy about something.
I received an email [which I opened because I thought it was a Private Message] and it's from somebody I have no wish to contact - it was a begging letter basically. Is there a way I can stop this happening? I don't want any private emails unless I exchange email addresses with somebody. Do you have Private Messaging only on this forum? I would prefer this. I would appreciate any help that you can give me. Many thanks. x

To turn off other forum member's ability to send you private messages via email, just go to your profile management and select "No" for "Allow Forum Members
to Send you E-Mail?" I wish we knew of effective ways to stop spammers from infiltrating every street corner. At any rate, we immediately delete and blacklist subscribers that are suspected of spamming activity.
