After more than a year of studying your reports, I have one interesting question.
If you look at the second chapter of many reports ("How ... approaches life and how (s)he appears to others") you will see things like: - "Moon in Aries Conjunct Ascendant in Aries" - "Mars Conjunct Ascendant in Taurus" - "Saturn Conjunct Ascendant in Gemini" - "Uranus Conjunct Ascendant in Virgo" Whilst I understand the purpose of this if there is conflict between the ordinary statement of the report "Uranus Conjunct Asc.", there is the question of how many aspects like this actually occur. With the short ascension signs from Aquarius through Taurus there are still such possibilities that might be of this type like: - "Mars Conjunct Ascendant in Aquarius"?? - "Sun Conjunct Ascendant in Pisces"?? - "Uranus Conjunct Ascendant in Pisces"?? - "Neptune Conjunct Ascendant in Aries"?? even - "Venus Conjunct Ascendant in Scorpio"?? - "Neptune Conjunct Ascendant in Capricorn"?? I have always wondered whether those would be treated in the same way as something like "Uranus Conjunct Ascendant in Virgo". Do you know? |

Dear Julien,
I either missed the meaning of your question altogether or I take fore granted something here. Will you please tackle the question from a different angle. |

What I'm asking is if you know or not from having read the reports on your site whether there are special interpretations for the following occurrences which are not common:
- "Mars Conjunct Ascendant in Aquarius"?? - "Sun Conjunct Ascendant in Pisces"?? - "Uranus Conjunct Ascendant in Pisces"?? - "Neptune Conjunct Ascendant in Aries"?? - "Neptune Conjunct Ascendant in Capricorn"?? An example of a special interpretation is: "Although he has a realistic and conservative outlook in many ways, Kurt Cobain nevertheless identifies with the progressive, innovative elements in society, and with being a rebel, reformer, nonconformist, or iconoclast. He enjoys being original and a free thinker. Cobain can be a very effective reformer, working within the system to make it better. Kurt Cobain often feels frustrated by inefficiency and poor moral conduct in institutions and organizations. Cobain's contributions are probably more significant and the ensuing improvements more important than Kurt Cobain gives himself credit for." for Uranus Conjucnt Ascendant in Virgo. The placements mentioned above I have not seen in any of your charts and I am simply asking you if you know if there are interpretations for them different from the ordinary "Sun Conjunct Asc.", "Neptuen Conjunct Asc." etc.

The variances in terminology just reflects the Astrologer's mental focus when reading the chart.
For example, some interpret the chart as Ascendant in Aquarius, others may view it as Uranus rules the Ascendant. Both statements are represented equally on the chart but may have different influence on the overall interpretation done by the astrologer. I guess that it also applies when viewing aspects to Ascendant or mid-points. I like reading the chart as Sun Conjunct Ascendant in Pisces more than just Sun Conjunct Ascendant. It gives more emotional depth to the interpretation. I also assume that this practice has developed during endless interpretations of synastry charts, where the in Pisces refers to the other person's wheel. |
